Help FICRA Update The Fox Island Phone Book
 
Volunteers are needed to get a head start this year on updating our "little" local Fox Island phone book. This book is for island residents only, and is not made available to the general public. If you are a member of FICRA, you can pick your phone book up at the annual Fox Island fair. We need help in identifying changes in names and numbers. Please e-mail us with any changes, additions, etc. to your listing. If you want to put your ad in the phone book, it must be ready to print and sent to us by e-mail.
If you would prefer a phone number only in the book and no address, please let us know this also.

Citizens Patrol Monthly Meetings

FIAC Vacation Bible School

Each day kids will play games, make a craft, sing songs, eat snack, see a skit, do science experiments, and much more. The Annual Fox Island FICRA Fair
Saturday, August 09, 2008  11:00am-4:00pm
Drop by the Nichols Community Center and spend the day at the FICRA Fair. Shop for handcrafted items and other goodies, play games, view beautiful horticultural displays, try your luck at B-I-N-G-O, pick up a few books at our book sale and much more! Meet our 2008 Grand Marshall and say hello to the 2008 FICRA Scholarship Winner.

The cost to participate in the Fair is free to paid FICRA members or $25.00 per booth for non-members. In addition to the fee, you must pay a percentage of your gross sales to help support FICRA. (Adults pay 10%, children pay 5%.) Both children and adults can be vendors.

Please bring a non-perishable food item be donated to the Gig Harbor Peninsula FISH Food Bank.

HUGE Book Sale - Nichols Community Center

***THE FOX ISLAND HISTORICAL SOCIETY NEEDS BOOKS!***

The Museum’s Annual Book Sale is coming soon at the Fox Island Fair on August 9th. All proceeds from the sale go to help maintain the museum. Clean out your book cases and bring donations to the museum….Wednesdays 11 A.M. to 3 P.M. or Saturdays 1 to 4 P.M. Call Jane, 549-2723 for information. Please: NO encyclopedias or magazines. We do take tapes, videos, CD’s and DVD’s.

The Museum will participate in the Fox Island Garage Sale. We need donations for the garage sale…..good, clean things, in working order, etc. Please NO….computer things, TV’s or exercise equipment. And, goods can not be delivered to the museum until after the fair on Aug. 9. Thank you……call Jane for information, 549=2723. On sale day, in addition to a great garage sale, we will have coffee and cookies and a hot dog meal.

Fox Island Judged Flower Show

Fox Island Annual Tree Lighting and Wickline Music Concert

Join your Island neighbors and friends for a festive evening of fun! Sing carols around a bonfire, meet our 2008 tree lighter, visit with Santa Claus, enjoy delicious refreshments and listen to a Wickline's Downhome Family Christmas Concert!

Bring a log for our outdoor bonfire and a waterproof ornament to hang on our outdoor Christmas tree. Tree Lighting Ceremony begins at 6:00pm, with The Wickline concert immediately following.

Fox Island Easter Egg Hunt, Bake Sale, and Craft Fair

Hop on down to the Nichols Community Center for the Annual Fox Island Easter Egg Hunt. Hunt for eggs, win cool prizes, and shop for delicious baked goodies. Vist the Unique Gift Boutique and shop for hand crafted items by local artisans.Have your photo taken with the Easter Bunny. We will have a photographer on hand or you can use your own camera.

Like to bake? Then we can use your Delicious Donations for the bake sale!
