Candidates Forum/Debate

The Fox Island Community & Recreation Association would like to invite you to attend a “Candidates Forum/Debate” to be held on October 15th at the Fox Island Nichols Community Center. The event will begin at 7pm and last approximately 3 hours. We would like to provide this forum for candidates that are seeking to represent the voters of Fox Island, Pierce County, the 26th Legislative District and the State of Washington. This event is open to the public.

Slated to appear are Larry Seaquist, Kim Abel, Marilyn Jensen; County Executive candidates Mike Lonegran, and a representative from Calvin Goings campaign.

Thistle Theatre at the Nichols Community Center!

Seattle’s Thistle Puppet Theatre returns to Fox Island with a special free presentation of “Aesop’s Fables” on Sunday, November 2, 2008 at 2:00pm at the Nichols Community Center on Fox Island.

This performance is a production of the Chapel on Echo Bay, and is sponsored by Tom Taylor and the Tom Taylor Insurance Brokerage.

This is a FREE presentation; no RSVPs are necessary. All ages welcome.

Tickets are now available for the Chapel on Echo Bay's 2nd annual Spaghetti Dinner! Proceeds from the dinner will go toward producing future programs for adults and children, such as our free concert series, Sylvan Concerts, our Children's Day Camp and Holiday Programs, and many others.

Our sauce is created by John and Carol Arno, and will be for sale at the event.
