Annual Garage Sale!

Wow! Back again is the 9th Annual Fox Island
Garage Sale! Shop from over 60 homes for books, antiques, clothing, toys,
furniture, cars, boats, craft items, imported gifts, house wares,
hand-crafted items and much more!
Refreshments will be available at the Nichols Community Center and at the
Fox Island Historical Museum. Maps to the sale locations will be available
for $1.00 on the day of the sale.
There are three locations to sell at:
Your own Fox Island residence, The Fox Island Museum and The Nichols
Community Center.
The cost to have your sale listed on the map is: $15.00 for home-based
sales, $20.00 for Fox Island Museum Sales and $25.00 for Nichols Community
Center Sales.
Deadline for sign up to be included on the map is 09/10/10.

A public forum was held on July 14, 2010 to decide if FICRA
should pursue acquisition of the former Fox Island Navy Lab as a
recreational property.

Troop 27 Named Troop of
The Year!
Scouts of Troop 27 on the summit of
5,475 foot Mt. Beljica, in the Glacier
View Wilderness area. Troop 27 was named Troop of the Year for 2008, by the
Thunderbird
District, covering Gig Harbor, Tacoma and Federal Way.

leadership skills and serving your community?

] is the place to be!
FICRA is sponsoring a brand-new
high-adventure youth organization
on Fox Island, that does all this and more. If you are between the
ages of 11 and 17, and want to have fun, come and check it out!

the second and third Mondays
of the month at the
